Description

This project involves the design, development and realization of a recreation center based on a UAV-gc agreement (Design & Buid). In addition to the Programme of Requirements, the question specification that will be sent with the invitation to tender in the next phase of the tender (award phase) consists, among other things, of an integration study and a draft VO plan. The functional design will therefore be given in basic form. The new recreation centre must completely replace the existing complex at the same location. Since the starting point is to keep the existing swimming pools and sports hall open during the new construction, it has been decided to change the location of the indoor pool and the outdoor pools. By carrying out the realization in phases, the covered part can be built on the location of the outdoor pools. After the completion of this, the old building will be demolished, after which the outdoor pools will be realized there. The new leisure centre comprises approximately 8,900 m2 of BVO and consists mainly of the following functions: • Central hall with catering; • An indoor swimming pool with a competition pool, target group pool and recreational pool; • A multifunctional sports hall of 29 x 44 m; • A gymnastics hall; • Various outdoor pools; • Outside area within the plan boundaries; • A multifunctional space for use by different groups (such as association use); • Facility functions. The complex must be of a high level in terms of appearance and design, and must be carried out in a very durable manner. It should be an energy-neutral building with an EPC value of 0.0. The starting point is an all-electric complex without gas connection. Due to grid congestion, the all-electric system must be temporarily extended (until approximately 2035) to a hybrid system with, for example, the addition of a gas boiler or cogeneration (CHP installation). The current swimming pool already has a gas connection and CHP installation. Due to the location, no heat-cold storage system (WKO) may be used. The location for the new building is within the current plot boundaries of the existing complex. It is located at Sportlaan 8 in Ridderkerk, as shown on the map below.
