Description

The project "740m network measure Karlsruhe-Durlach" is part of the special programme "740m network" in the BVWP 2030. The main objective of the program is to enable trains with a length of 740 m. In Karlsruhe-Durlach, this is to be achieved by extending track 9. The necessary measures include the installation of two new switches, the extension of the track, adjustments to the signalling technology and the construction of new noise barriers and overhead line systems.
