The project ‘Climate change mitigation and adaptation by improving sustainable forest management’ is financed by the granting of State aid under intervention Dr 24 ‘INVESTATIONS IN FORESTRY TECHNOLOGIES THAT IMPROVE THE RESILENCE AND ENVIRONMENTAL VALUE OF FORESTRY ECOSYSTEMS UNDER SP 2023 - 20027’. The subject matter of the contract is the procurement of sector-specific equipment and machinery for carrying out care work for the extraction and valorisation of minor wood material from the forest in order to improve the environmental value of forest ecosystems. Also, given that climate change has recently caused a warming of the weather, forest fires have become more frequent. It is therefore necessary to purchase equipment that will be used to prevent , from detecting and extinguishing forest fires. The project will contribute to the fulfillment of the legal obligations of civil protection and administration, as well as to the achievement of the objectives by equipping with equipment, materials and means of civil protection defence at European quality standards. The number of days until which clarifications can be requested before the closing date for submission of tenders will be: Eight days. The contracting authority will respond in a clear and complete manner to all requests for clarifications on the 4th day before the closing date for submission of tenders.
