Description

VR will renew the Eco class of ICS passenger wagons between 2018 and 2023. The renewal of the upholstery will be carried out in the context of heavy maintenance of wagons, the first concept will be carried out in the first half of 2018 with a series of 9 wagons. After the approvals of the test series, the remaining approximately 115 wagons are planned to be carried out as of autumn 2018.
VR calls for repackaging of seats for work and materials. As a possible option, an offer to recreate the seats in the family cabin (around 172 seats) and another possible option to recoup the workhouse seats (around 840 seats) is also requested. The renewal of upholstery consists of approximately 115 wagons, approximately 100 seats per wagon. A number of seats shall be purchased as spare parts to be specified at a later stage.
