Description

The Verbandsgemeindewerk Prüm is planning the new construction of the wastewater treatment plant Weinsheim outside the village Weinsheim on the K 179 in the direction of the road B410 to Prüm and Gerolstein. A biological wastewater treatment plant for 3,000 p.e. is planned. For this purpose, the BIOCOS(R) method was determined in advance as a preferred variant for wastewater treatment as part of an extensive comparison of variants. This process consists of a two-street structure with one aeration tank each and two sedimentation and circulation tanks (SU tanks). Here, the wastewater first enters the aerated aeration tank, which is connected to the SU tanks via inclined openings. During operation, the water and sludge volumes are exchanged between the aeration tank and a SU tank using inclined openings and ventilated lifting shafts. The second SU tank is not involved in the exchange during this time, but a settling of the sludge masses takes place and a clear water zone is formed. The clear water is discharged via a trigger from the SU basin and can be introduced into the pre-washer as purified wastewater. The project is supported, among other things, with funding for a fast construction period. This requires parallel work on the trades and mandatory compliance with the overall construction time. The deadlines stipulated in the contract must be observed. The overall wastewater treatment measure will be divided into three main lots: Lot 1 - Construction technology, Lot 2 - Plant technology, Lot 3 - EMSR technology. The side offers are permitted, expressly only for combined discounts for offers on several lots.
