The section of the Stadtautobahn between St. Gallen West – St. Gallen Ost with the four connections St. Gallen Winkeln, Kreuzbleiche, St. Fiden and Neudorf will be repaired after around 30 years of operation. Since the opening of the Stadtautobahn (N01) in 1987, a considerable need for renovation has accumulated, which necessitates an overall repair: • Extensive repair work on the three tunnels (Schoren, Rosenberg and St. Fiden) including their headquarters and structural measures to increase safety. • Resurfacing covering and partially binder layer in tunnels, on artificial structures and in connection areas. • Renewal of operational and safety equipment • Measures to stabilise the Dietli slide In 2024, work will start on stage II. From 2025 to 2026, the main works on the national road are planned. In 2027, the final theses BSA will take place.
