United Kingdom-London: Flats construction work
The Greater London Authority (GLA) is seeking to appoint a suitable experienced development partner to redevelop the Newington Butts Site. The site extends over 0.49 hectares (1.2 acres) and was formerly occupied by the London Park Hotel which has been demolished. Planning consent to deliver a 45 storey tower and 7 storey terrace providing 470 new homes and a new theatre for Southwark Playhouse (with a café concession) was secured in 2008 and has been implemented. The GLA is seeking a development partner to deliver the scheme whilst ensuring that financial returns are maximised. Interested developers should be able to demonstrate both relevant knowledge and particular skills to provide works described.
