Street sweepers
The purpose of the contract is the purchase of a ‘street-sweeper machine’ by concluding a public contract with a duration of 3 months. When the procedure was initiated, Nuclearelectrica SERV S.R.L. has a number of service contracts to be carried out for which it is necessary to provide logistics with a street-sweeping machine in order to operationalise and streamline current activities. The purchase of the street-sweeping machine is necessary in order to carry out in a safe and efficient manner, with its own workforce and own resources, the maintenance and cleaning of areas outside the protected area, in accordance with the requirements of the Specifications No CR # 36827, rev. 7, relating to contract No 186/12.07.2023, concerning ‘Preventive and corrective maintenance services for areas outside the protected area’. Also, by purchasing the street cleaning machine, the aim is to achieve a consistent level of courtesy on an extensive surface area, to reduce the effort and time required for hand sweeping. The street-sweeper is designed to be able to remove debris and resistances, thus preventing accidents, ensuring safe movement for pedestrians and motor vehicles. With the help of rotating brushes and the suction system, it can collect leaves from the strata, pavements or car parks. This machine can also be adapted and used in winter for snow removal, sand removal and salt after snow cleaning. The street-sweepers can clean large surfaces in a short time, which is particularly useful for the main arteries, car parks or pavements, and in places such as corners, stairways and narrow areas where the sweepers cannot be reached with staff who will carry out the hand sweeping.
