Description

The structural conditions and external conditions of the Walpershofen fire brigade on Herchenbacher Straße no longer correspond to the technical and legal requirements that are placed on a modern fire brigade. The existing premises and areas are no longer large enough for day-to-day operation. The fire brigade must be provided with premises and areas in accordance with DIN 14092 and the guidelines of the accident insurance fund. Furthermore, the FW is to be prepared for the future fleet. On the basis of a feasibility study, the municipality of Riegelsberg has decided to implement the project "Neubau Feuerwehrhaus Walpershofen" at the location on Salbacher Straße 3 in accordance with the coordinated space and area program. The demolition of the existing building on the property at Salbacher Straße 3 and the subsequent new construction on this property will take place when the new day care centre is relocated to Herchenbacher Straße.
