Description

The WG intends to establish a barrier-free production facility for adults with severe and multiple disabilities in 92237 Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Eisenhämmerstraße 30. A support centre is an integration aid facility that looks after adults with severe and multiple disabilities during the day. It offers these people a place to live and work, where they can develop their skills and participate in social life. In a support center, various activities are offered, such as creative activities, housekeeping tasks, social training offers and exercise programs. The aim is to promote the individual skills of the participants and to offer them a meaningful daily structure. In addition, pedagogical and nursing care must be guaranteed. During the day, the support centre offers a range of support and care services. The groups are mixed in terms of age and gender, taking into account compatibility with each other. Likewise, a distribution of wheelchair users among the different groups is a matter of course in order to ensure the greatest possible uniform load and utilization of the individual groups and to implement the normality principle. The production site is to be built in the catchment area between the Sulzbach-Rosenberg branch workshop in Eisenhämmerstraße and the residence in Jahnstraße. The new facility for a total of 24 people with 4 group rooms and the associated therapy, relaxation rooms, cloakrooms, toilets, washing, shower and changing rooms as well as cross-group rooms creates optimal conditions for individually adapted care and support for people with severe mental and / or multiple disabilities, as well as the group with autism spectrum disorder. A barrier-free connection between indoor and outdoor space is required as outdoor therapy offers also take place. Due to the slope length, a partial basement is suitable. This can accommodate therapy rooms, technical rooms and car parking spaces. Access is guaranteed here via our branch workshop in Eisenhämmerstraße on own ground.
