Description

At the beginning of the 2020/2021 school year, the City of Baden-Baden launched a new call for tenders in exempted school transport to the Stulz-von-Ortenbergschule. The persons to be transported are pupils in different age groups with mainly emotional and social developmental disorders.
The transport services were awarded for the school years 2020/2021 – 2023/2024 in a two-stage Europe-wide negotiated procedure with an upstream competition. The duration may, optionally, be extended twice, each time by one school year. The contract shall end at the latest by the end of the school year 2025/2026.
The services are divided into regional lots. The pupils to be transported come from the city and rural districts of Karlsruhe, Rastatt, Baden-Baden and the Ortenau (this is not the lot sections).
Each lot will consist mainly of the following services:
— The collection of the pupils to be transported at the place of residence or meeting point;
— Transport to the Stulz von Ortenbergschule;
— Collection at the Stulz-von-Ortenbergschule and the return-transport to the place of collection.
The only evaluation criterion was price.
More detailed information on the service was provided in the tender specifications, which were made available in the second stage of the procedure to the companies invited to submit a tender.
