Norway-Narvik: Ships and similar vessels for the transport of persons or goods
High-speed harbour vessel. The vessel shall be used for transportation of pilots, agents, crew and equipment within the harbour district. The vessel shall also be used for general harbour inspections.
Requirement specifications. The following specifications must be complied with:
Hulls and equivalent requirements:
Type: Mono hull.
Material: Hull made of aluminium, superstructure in GRP sandwich.
LOA: Between 15,1 and 16,5 metres.
Width: Between 4 and 5 metres.
Gross tonnage: below 50.
Bow section: Access in bow for personnel to/from gangways and pilot ladders.
Fendering: Installed longitudinal fendering. Particularly strong fendering in the bow section.
Machinery requirement:
Number of engines: 2 x diesel-powered main engines. New or complete overhauled.
Power main engines: Minimum 1 300 kW in total.
Auxiliary engine: Minimum 24 kW.
Bow thrusters: Minimum power (thrust) 260 kg.
Deck machinery: Hydraulic winch, capstan and deck crane.
Towing system: Towing hook and towing lines.
Tank requirements:
Bunker capacity: Minimum 4 m3.
Fresh water capacity: Minimum 0,3 m3.
Navigation requirements:
Compass: GPS compass.
Satellite navigation: DGPS.
Map: Map plotter.
Other sensors: Rudder indicator, log.
Radars: 2 x radars (requested one 10 cm radar and one 3 cm radar).
Requirements related to accommodations:
Cabins: Minimum 3 single cabins.
Facilities: Galley/pantry, washing machine, dryer, shower and toilet.
Requirements related to wheel house:
Generally: Elevated steering position with 'pilot' and 'co-pilot' design. Seats of high quality with cushioning.
Other requirements:
Rescue equipment: All obligatory rescue equipment in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.
Lights: Deck lighting, complete lantern system and searchlights.
Documentation: Service, equipment, information, maintenance and stability instructions as well as drafts.
Training: 10 hours test run when the vessel is handed over, with option for 37, 5 hours x 2 training.
Certificates: All relevant certificates for the vessel shall be valid and in accordance with laws and regulations. The Awarding Authority requests that the vessel is delivered and taken over ASAP.
