Description

In the past year, the Public Lighting department has taken important steps in the distribution and the necessary control (also called SMART city in the market). The acreage consists of approximately 35,000 light points and is approximately 50% executed in LED and approximately 10% is equipped with dynamic dimming model or node. The distribution in the center area is almost complete. We are committed to the ’s-Hertogenbosch Datastad objective. The expectation is that in addition to luminaire leaching, approximately 800 to 1,000 masts will need to be replaced annually as a preventive measure. For the coming years, the Municipality of s-Hertogenbosch will need two contracted Tenderers for the construction and replacement of public lighting. In particular, the accelerated transfer of the city that must be realized by 2030 plays an important role in this. The area will grow steadily in the coming years due to the development of new residential locations. The addition of neighbouring villages or towns is currently not foreseen. The purchase requirement is: • about 800 to 1000 light poles per year; • approximately 15,000 luminaire replacements during the term of the contract; • Extension of own cable network; • Dynamic lighting extension. New products are introduced every year. This means that we must and want to include these innovations in the replacement works. In particular, remote control of a lighting fixture has a lot of development potential. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
