Description

The Landesbetrieb Straßenbau NRW intends to build a new road maintenance office in Weilerswist. With regard to its structure, the size of workshop, vehicle and equipment halls, as well as the central areas of building technology, the existing road maintenance department has reached the edge of its technical lifetime and operational usability. Renovation of the existing stock is uneconomical, as it does not solve the central problems. Therefore, a replacement of the complete road maintenance is planned on the same property. The existing buildings are to be demolished in several construction phases and rebuilt elsewhere on the property so that the ongoing operation is affected as little as possible.
