Description

The Chamber of Crafts Ostmecklenburg-Vorpommern (HWK OM-V) is a self-governing institution of the craft and craft-like industry. It is a public corporation and is subject to the legal supervision of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labour of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (MWITA M-V). It is responsible for the representation of the interests of the craft and the fulfilment of other tasks regulated in § 91 of the Act on the Order of Crafts (HwO). The HWK OM-V is responsible in its chamber area for the care of about 12,400 small and medium-sized craft enterprises and thus more than 60,500 employees and apprentices. The HWK OM-V intends to restructure the Schwaaner Landstraße 8 education centre in 18055 Rostock, to modernise the existing building and to rebuild it with a partial new construction of a car and body shop.
