Description

The Geophysical Institute intends to procure a deep-sea observatory for use in the Nordic branch of the European network EMSO ERIC. The bottom-mounted observation system will be used to sample the ecosystem and properties of the water column above hydrothermal vents and regularly transfer data to an onshore laboratory over periods of up to 2 years.
