Description

The contract covers the technical planning for the technical equipment performance survey in accordance with Section 2 of Part 4 of the HOAI for the measure described in more detail below. The TGA design comprises plant groups 1 and 2 and 4 to 6 (sanitary systems, heating systems, electrical engineering, information technology and lift system). A phased assignment is foreseen (see Section II.2.11 for more details).
The Friedrich Ebert School was built in 1963 and expanded in 1986. It is the largest of the 5 primary schools in Kamen’s urban area. Given the full capacity of the school, the spatial possibilities in the school are very limited. Individual rooms of the school are used by the Open All-day School, which means that these rooms are not available for school use. There is no possibility of extending OGGS within the building.
The necessary area requirements for the OGGS have already been determined in consultation with the School Administration Office, the school management and the management of the OGGS. On the basis of this desired space programme, the Weiss + Wessel Architecture Office (Lünen) was commissioned to carry out a feasibility study, which is attached to the procurement documents.
A lift must be provided in the extension structure and arranged in such a way that the upper floors of the existing school building are also connected to the lift.
The new part of the building is to be connected to the existing building installations. To this end, it will have to be examined as part of the planning whether the performance of the existing installations is sufficient for this purpose.
