Description

This procurement was awarded in April 2020 for access to the ‘Medopad software as a service and Application’ for a pilot in two London NHS Trusts. The supplier was selected as they hold the IPR or provision of their remote system, mobile application. This was provided pro bono for the period 20 April 2020 to 31 December 2020 inclusive. However, DHSC had to purchase 20 000 Pulse Oximeters at pace to allocate to the Pilot's patients, and these were in short supply and high demand in April 2020, as a number of countries were rolling out a similar pilot scheme. DHSC agreed one-off supply contract for these Pulse Oximeters via Huma's supply chain to ensure stock was available immediately, and configured to meet the Pilot's specification.
