Description

The Urban Environment Department currently has an existing IT system for handling permits for traffic device plans, excavation permits and land concessions. Since the existing system was procured, the conditions regarding the system image of the administration have changed. The introduction of a new operational platform in the administration provides access to ArcGis services and modules that support the management of spatial data and provide the conditions for exploiting the benefits of a common data structure and GIS services that can exchange data with each other. System support that replaces the current system should contribute to an efficient process with at least equivalent functionality to today's IT solution, but if possible contribute to faster case management and improved quality of handling, to the benefit of the customer as well as the business. To ensure that agreements for existing systems need to be renewed, the department wants to define which IT solution best supports the needs of the business.
