Description

In the second half of 2015, the Röntgenclinics at Sollefteå, Örnsköθvik and Sundsvall will be part of the county x-ray clinic for Västernorrland County Council, which is currently being introduced.
In total, the clinics today have 6 Computer Tomographs: Sollefteå Siemens Sensation 64 (2007), Örnsköθvik GE 750HD (2012) and GE Pro 16 (2005), Sundsvall GE 750HD (2012), GE VCT Lightspeed (2006) and Siemens AS + (2013) shared with radiation therapy.
The Röntgen clinics jointly carried out 43 000 CT tomography surveys in 2014.
Developments in X-ray and CT tomography are constantly increasing the proportion and number of CT examinations carried out. New survey areas introduced in recent years are computed tomography of thick arm, kidney and urinary tract, brain, nose sinuses, DT led punctures and various orthopaedic studies.
We see in the future that the number of CT tests continues to increase, both police-clinical and acute. New challenges arise where cardiac and perfusion studies may be introduced.
