Description

The contract concerns school doctors specialising in paediatric medicine and youth medicine or general medicine for school activities in Ludvika and Hedemora.
The organisers shall promote students’ physical and mental health in the school environment in cooperation with school nurses, parents, pupils, teachers and other pupil care staff in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare’s directives and the commissioners’ programme for the medical part of ElevHealth. The colleges shall take part in health promotion and prevention, carry out health examinations with the school nurses, manage school-related health problems and participate, on behalf of the head of the school, in the examination of pupils in need of special support.
The scope of the assignment is around 1/3 full-time in Ludvika and 2-3 days per semester in Hedemora, which may be increased depending on future budgetary conditions.
