Description

The purpose of the contract is to award the service, by way of rental, of a metro network for telecommunications between the offices of the University of Brescia and the related support services.
The University intends to renew the existing metropolitan network infrastructure. In particular, it is necessary to update the data network interconnection service connecting various locations in the university by providing for better logistical distribution and improvement of overall performance, in accordance with the technical specifications and tender documents.
The only supply, within the meaning of Article 37 of Legislative Decree No 163, as amended, is the rental service of a metro network for telecommunications between the offices of the University of Brescia and the related support services for the period 1.8.2016-31.7.2019.
The University reserves the right to reinstate the service for a further three years, pursuant to Article 57 (5) (b) of Legislative Decree No 12.4.2006, as amended.
