Der Kreis Steinfurt beabsichtigt die Umstellung von der klassischen TK-Anlage mit kabelgebundenen Telefongeräten auf Softphone mittels Headsets. Headsets sind Teil der neuen Standard-Arbeitsplatz-Ausstattung und werden daher zukünftig von allen Mitarbeitenden des Kreises Steinfurt zum Telefonieren benötigt.
