Dublin Bus is looking to establish a service contract for the Removal and installation of engines which will consists of a number of locations throughout Dublin City and County. Occasionally, as part of routine maintenance, it is necessary to have bus engines removed and overhauled. The successful Contractor will be responsible for removing failed/worn engine from the vehicle at their own premises, having first collected the vehicle from the garage requiring the service. This will require the contractor to secure the services of an appropriate recovery vehicle as the buses in question may not be operational. This is a three year contract with the option of two one year extensions. The estimated price for the five years including the two one year extensions is €200,000.
