The Hafnarfjordur commune in Iceland is using about 14,5 GWh of electricity each year. According to the Electricity Act from 2003 companies with licence from the Ministry of Industry to engage in trade in electricity can sell electricity in Iceland. Hafnafjordur is asking companies with this licence for offers for the supply of electricity for the commune.
