Ruhrbahn GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Ruhrbahn, or customer) is a transport company in the Ruhr area that ensures mobility in the cities of Essen and Mülheim by providing a public service contract. As part of the conversion of the Von-Bock-Straße light rail station in Mülheim an der Ruhr, electrical installation work is required. The subject of the award is, among other things, the construction of a new electrical installation in the low-voltage range up to 400V. The new electrical installation consists of low-voltage main distributors in protection class II (hereinafter SK II), sub-distributor (SK II) including metering device for connection to a 400V DSO connection (SKII), UPS system including battery system, automation cabinets (SKII), interactive lighting and safety lighting system including luminaires, installation equipment, various cable support systems, cables and wiring for low-voltage and telecommunications/data technology. To supply various plant components, sub-distributions in SK II must be installed as floor-standing cabinets. For the transmission of messages and commands, a linked automation system must be set up.
