I. The basic tasks of the public service provider are:

3. Collection, transport and treatment of separate waste (together: ‘selective collection’, as follows:

4. In order to ensure the continuous performance of the public service, the Public Service Provider shall also perform the following tasks (collection, transport and handling), for which the Public Service Provider may not charge any specific fee:
— Residential defoliation in a door-to-door system, once a year.
— Autumn foliage collection in a home-to-door system from residents, once a year (in the last 2 weeks of November).
— Collection of Christmas trees from residents in a door-to-door system, once a year (in the last 2 weeks of January).
— Monthly receipt of green waste from cemeteries from the cemetery operator up to a maximum of 100 000 litres per year.
II. Expected quantity, type and composition of waste falling within the scope of the public service (based on 2013 data):
1. Household waste: 17 689 880 litres/year.
2. Waste from municipal institutions: 206 960 litres/year.
3. Residential selective green waste: 388 198 litres/year.
4. Household selective plastic, paper and metal scrap: 1 110 738 litres/year.
5. Separate collection of glass waste: 100 000 litres/year.
III. Estimated values for each assessment sub-criterion:
1. Household waste charge: HUF 2.84/litre net.
2. Municipal institution waste fee: HUF 2.84/litre net.
3. Purchase price of a bag for collecting household green waste: HUF 2.92/litre net.
