Description

In winter, the formation of frost and ice in the thunderwires of transmission lines causes an increase in the dependency of thunderwires. As a result of the increased suspension, thunderstorms can sink even between phase conductors, which increases the risk of disturbances in the transmission of electricity significantly. In order to avoid disturbances, we'll drop the scrub from thunder conductors. In order to make the drop in time, a warning of the formation and location of the deaf must be received early enough, and the development of the situation must otherwise be monitored. Fingrid currently has sensors that observe the scrub situation with approximately 300 tendons for monitoring the scrub situation. The object of the procurement is a monitoring system for the formation of frost formation, which allows real-time detection of the formation of frost and snow loads on a tendon basis, thus predicting the defoliation measures in a timely manner. The scope of the monitoring to be procured is approximately 300 individual tendons, mainly in eastern and northern Finland. The acquisition covers measuring sensors, their installation in live wire, communication services between the sensors and the central system, and a visualisation and alarm system for measuring data.
