Description

NETINERA Deutschland GmbH ("NETINERA") is consistently expanding its activities in Germany-wide rail transport. To this end, NETINERA is exploring the market for suitable manufacturers of long-distance trains that meet the vehicle requirements set out in this notice (see below). Suitability requirements for manufacturers are set out in point 2.1.4 of this Notice. NETINERA intends to procure up to 14 long-distance trains for long-distance passenger transport itself or through an affiliated company. There is also the option to increase the volume up to a total of 50 long-distance trains ('extension option') and to register in Italy ('country option'). The following requirements are to be met by the new vehicles: - Delivery (without extension option): by 11.12.2027 at the latest. - Approval for the standard gauge network in Germany with an approved maximum speed of at least 300 km/h in overhead contact line operation. - Equipped with ETCS Level 2, LZB and PZB. - Country option: Extension of approval for Italy. - Overhead line voltage: 15kV, when exercising country option: 3kV and 25kV. - Capacity: 450 - 520 seats in up to four classes (single deck). - Number of external doors per side: 13+1 (PRM). - Exterior door to the driver's cab: necessary. - Number of toilets: 12+1 (PRM).
