Description

Since 2021, AOK Hessen has been using web-based software for the testing and evaluation of aid regulations for hearing aids, the use of which is to continue in the future. By using the DiKS software of Digotex GmbH, the cost estimates submitted in the field of hearing aids are checked qualified without the provision of social or personal data. The software checks the data of cost estimates and regulations according to the applicable regulations for the adequacy of the supply. The application can be accessed via a web address and can be used without installing separate software. The software compares the specified parameters, audiometric measurements and the requested hearing aid with the device features of all manufacturers. The indication check determines whether there is a contractually regulated claim, which basic requirements the supply must meet and which technical requirements the device should have. In particular, it is checked whether the hearing loss can still be compensated with the existing device or which payment-free alternatives are available. DiKS determines a technically meaningful result and displays the adjustment range of the corresponding device. As a result, it can be seen whether the proposed supply is in principle sufficient and thus the assumption of costs is indicated.
