Description

NHS Bournemouth and Poole on behalf of the NHS Dorset Cluster is seeking to contract with suitably qualified and experienced provider(s) for the provision of a non-emergency patient transport service including a call centre and an operational patient transport service fleet. The service will be split for the purpose of this tender into a number of lots and bidders are encouraged to bid for one or more lots or for all lots. The Patient Transport Service (PTS) is a non-emergency transportation service for patients whose condition is not considered an emergency.
The purpose of the service is to transport eligible patients between the patient’s homes, hospitals, community settings or other treatment centres including private treatment centres for patients referred for NHS treatments, consultations or procedures.
