Description

The purpose of the contract is the upgrading of the SW multi-detector CT apparatus for use at the contracting authority’s Ikt Centre – the extension of the existing CT equipment of Toshiba Aquilion 64. The contracting authority obtained the status of ictation centre in 2011 and the equipment of the ictation centre is a CT instrument with modules CT angiography and CT brain perfusion modules. Since the CT module of brain perfusion was not part of the equipment under the 2010 public contract for the supply of CT equipment, it is necessary to procure this module additionally in order to meet the requirements for the equipment of the ictation centre. The module parameters referred to in the technical requirements are the basic parameters of CT brain perfusion and allow a distinction to be made between finished ischaemia and tissues in the hemisphere that is therapeutically influenced. Part of the subject-matter of the supply is transport to the premises of the contracting authority, assembly and entry into service, instruction of operators pursuant to Section 22 of Act No 123/2000 on medical devices and amending certain related acts, as amended (min. 1 working day), the provision of full free warranty service security for a period of 24 months. For the award of a public contract, the conditions for the use of a negotiated procedure without prior publication under Section 23(4)(a) of Act No 137/2006 on public procurement, as amended, are met, as a public contract can be fulfilled for technical reasons, for the protection of exclusive rights or for reasons arising from specific legislation only by a particular supplier.
