Improving the quality and number of undergraduate programmes offered. 2. Improvement of Postgraduate Studies Programmes (MSc) and Doctoral Studies Programmes (DPS). 3. Strengthening the research activity of HMU faculty members and researchers, with the aim of increasing resources from competitive projects entering the Foundation, increasing the quantity and improving the quality of publications, as well as strengthening the research culture based on international practices. 5. Ensuring the accessibility of all the premises and facilities of the University, but also the possibility of full inclusion in academic activities, especially educational ones, of People with Disabilities. 6. Continuous upgrading of digital systems related to the daily work of members of the academic community. 7. Integrated Implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance Program (ESDP) of HELMEPA. 8. Monitoring, control and revision of the Curriculum by the Departments' OMEA in collaboration with MODIP. 9. Support teachers in education; procure appropriate equipment that will support the above institutional goals in education. It also procures basic equipment to support research excellence in research axes: AI: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cloud computing for scientific and business applications, Cybersecurity, Fintech, Research Laboratories with huge amounts of data from scientific instruments, simulations, time criticality management sensors of research projects, Healthcare and Life Sciences, etc. All species are required to be manufactured diligently and in accordance with the regulations in force in the EU and internationally, by a recognized domestic or foreign house, demonstrably specialized in this category of species. The equipment to be procured must be modern, new, unused and owned by HELMEPA. Tenders shall be submitted either for one lot, or for several lots, or for all lots and shall cover the whole quantity of the lot(s). Alternative offers will not be accepted. The maximum number that can be awarded to a tenderer is 26. Tenders are accepted for all requirements of each type. The total estimated value of the contract is € 3.125.915,00 excluding VAT 24% (€750.219,60 VAT, € 3.876.134,60 including VAT). The scope of this Decision includes the transport, installation and commissioning of equipment. Where user training is required, it shall have a duration of at least two (2) days, depending on the equipment. The time of receipt of the items and the drafting of the relevant protocol is set to up to fifteen (15) days from delivery and specifically, after the installation, the commissioning of the equipment and any trainings have been completed. The on-site visit to the Hellenic Mediterranean University and in particular to the installation site of the equipment, the prospective contractors or their representatives, in order to obtain full knowledge of the difficulties they may face, is accepted upon request through the Communication of ESIDIS, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 2.1.3 of the notice. The submission of the tender shall presume that the tenderer accepts all the terms of the call for tenders and that he is aware of all the premises following an inspection to which the subject of the call for tenders will be applied and, if he is declared successful, he is not entitled to plead ignorance of the particularities.
