Description

In 2022, the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism (StMELF), hereinafter referred to as the Client (AG), commissioned and co-developed the mobile application FAL-BY (Photo App for Agricultural Support in Bavaria) to support agricultural support in Bavaria. The mobile application, which is available to both employees of the agricultural administration and applicants, is a mobile support of the service portal of the Bavarian agricultural administration iBALIS. FAL-BY offers users the possibility to edit inspection orders by taking georeferenced photos and make measurements and is available for iOS, iPadOS and Android. On the one hand, the further development of FAL-BY includes necessary adjustments due to the new challenges in the field of development. Here, it is necessary to react flexibly in order to implement changes to the legal requirements in FAL-BY in a timely manner. On the other hand, further development in the area of services for users is planned in order to provide Bavarian farmers with the best possible support in complying with funding requirements. In this context, the use of AI, for example through a chatbot, is also planned for users.
