Description

Subject-matter of these supplies: The water-link production site ā€˜Induss I’ produces demineralised water for use as boiler feed water by the (petro)chemical industry in the port of Antwerp. Raw water is tap water based on surface water, the main characteristics of which are: • Temperature: 4-25°C • Conductivity: 420-800 μS/cm, average 560 μS/cm; • TOC: 1,5-2,5 mg/l; • Silica: 1-8 mg/l The final quality of the demiwater produced shall comply with the following characteristics: • Conductivity < 0,1 μS/cm • TOC < 200 μg/l (usual < 100) • Silica < 20 μg/l (usual < 10) There are currently 4 ion exchange production lines and 1 RO. In March 2026, the 6th production line will be commissioned, based on ion exchange. This production line is built in an up.co.re configuration, where production takes place from top to bottom. The production flow rate (in service) varies from min-max 250 to 500 m3/h. At a low water temperature, the flow rate can be reduced to 400 m3/h max if necessary, but otherwise is not allowed. Regeneration of cation and anion occurs countercurrently with 4.1% HCl and 3.2% NaOH respectively. The configuration consists of a cation tank (2 compartments), atmospheric degasser, anion tank (2 compartments), mixing bed tank with internal regeneration. The following types and volumes of resins are necessary for this purpose and will be purchased through this tender procedure. Type resin Diameter resin column [mm] IX volume [m3] Delivery form WAC 3900 14,5 H SAC 3900 21 H WBA 3900 21 Fb/Cl SBA 3900 16,5 Cl MB-SAC 3600 7,75 H MB-SBA 3600 9,1 Cl Inert resin 9 In the current production lines there are 18-20 cm inert resins per compartment. This is negotiable. The order is scheduled for August-early September 2025, with delivery in early February 2026. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
