DARS detects events on the motorway with the help of various sensors installed above and next to the motorway, some even in the carriageway. Traffic detection systems detect accidents, opposite-way driving, number and type of vehicles, speed of vehicles, distance between vehicles, density of vehicles, etc. With a new development-oriented project, we aim to obtain additional real-time traffic data without additional installation of detectors and video cameras by upgrading the existing network.
