EM 06/24 Wind Turbine Supply Qualification System (TSA)
Contracts awarded under this Qualification System will include but not be limited to the provision of: Suitably qualified candidates interested in this Qualification System will be considered for the Wind Turbine Supply contract and the Wind Turbine Service and Availability Agreement contract (WTSA). The Wind Turbine Supply contract will outline the terms and conditions between the supplier and the buyer for the provision of wind turbines and related equipment. This will include, but not limited to, the scope of supply, specified number of turbines, type, and specifications of the turbines, along with the delivery schedule. The contract will also address (but not limited to) pricing, payment terms, warranties, performance guarantees, and installation requirements. This contract will serve to ensure all parties' expectations are clearly defined, minimizing risks and promoting a successful wind energy project The Wind Turbine Service and Availability Agreement (WTSA) contract between the wind turbine operator and the service provider will outline the terms and conditions for maintaining the turbine’s operational performance. The agreement will typically include provisions for scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and technical support to ensure the turbines operate at peak efficiency. It also specifies service response times, availability guarantees, and performance benchmarks. The WTSA typically includes clauses related to spare parts, safety protocols, and compliance with industry standards. Additionally, the contract may establish financial terms such as payment structures for services rendered, penalties for non-compliance, and incentives for exceeding availability targets.
