Description

Procurement of insurance services (buildings/content) Insurance. “The concept of global insurance has been developed specifically for cities and municipalities. The respective building/inventory stock is insured abstractly. In the event of a claim, compensation is paid ‘at first risk’, so that any underinsurance does not have to be calculated. The abstract form of insurance optionally covers all risks (fire, tap water, storm/hail, burglary/vandalism) for the ‘city/municipality/school association/own enterprises’. The insurance cover is provided ‘at first risk’, so that damages up to the agreed maximum compensation amount are covered in each claim. This means that the risk of possible non-insurance/underinsurance must be excluded within the limits of the maximum compensation.’ Irrespective of the question of classifying the policyholder as a large risk pursuant to § 210 VVG in conjunction with the second sentence of Article 10(1) EGVVG, the provisions of the VVG and the subsequent provisions of this framework contract apply. A framework contract is drawn up for all objects to be insured. A group insurance certificate is drawn up for all risks. The objects to be insured must be entered in a ‘list of objects’. This also becomes the basis of the contract. The contractual relationship for the advertised service begins on 01.01.2025 at 00:00. The insurance contract ends uniformly for all objects on 31.12.2027 at 24:00.
