The subject of the acquisition is access to the Academic Search Complete (ASC) database through Ebsco Publishing Inc.'s (Ebsco) EBSCOhost user interface. Academic Search Complete (ASC) has been available to the Government since 2018 on a fixed-term contract with IP identification. The exact description of the contract is set out in the invitation to tender of 6 May 2025. The service will be acquired for use by the entire Government (ministries, the Office of the Chancellor of Justice and the Office of the President of the Republic) on a fixed-term contract for a period of three years (1.1.2026-31.12.2028). The ASC database is a multidisciplinary article and reference database containing 8923 full-text journals, 7810 of which are peer-reviewed journals. The database also contains abstracts from 11,703 journals.
