Description

Essex County Council conducted a light touch, single stage, open procurement process to secure suitably experienced organisation(s) to deliver an effective, efficient and reliable Housing Related Support Service which provides targeted support to young people aged 16 and over within each of the county's quadrants. The successful candidate is required to work in conjunction with partnering organisations across the public and private sectors to deliver a service which enables the individuals concerned to attain their personal outcomes and become more resilient and independent as they develop intoadulthood. This service will provide HRS support for young people who are affected by the following issues:
— aged between 16-17 and at risk of homelessness;
— young people aged 18-21 at risk of homelessness and assessed as having specific vulnerabilities;
— individuals who are leaving care;
— vulnerable young parents up to the age of 21 years with additional support needs.
