Reporting and Consolidation Tool
TenneT currency uses a software tool for reporting and consolidation of financial figures. Since the contract has anticipated and the cumulative value of that contract exceeds the threshold for European tender law, TenneT is conducting a European tender for this functionality. The working field of financials is changing from traditional accounting towards a broader focus. We have developed a view on the future of our reporting and consolidation software; we would like to use the relevant software more as an integrated finance tool. Besides reporting on actuals, we would like to be able to collect information with regard to sustainability (CSRD) and a connection to a module for budgeting. With regard to the foregoing, we specifically mean that budgeting information could be reported in the software, and could report together with updates. For tax calculations we currently use the financial reports from the software tool that is in use. In order to apply specific tax information and (initial) tax calculations we would like to assume this in a separate tax module. The scope is at first the implementation and delivery of software for reporting and consolidation as Software as a Service (SaaS). In line with the IT policy to minimise the number of applications in the IT-landscape, the scope of the new software solution is to combine multiple features. Given developments in the area of sustainability reporting (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive -CSRD-), a module for CSRD will be added to the success. Secondary, a tax module will be added to automatic tax-related information and initial calculations.
