NMBI Multi Party framework Agreement for the provision of Education Assessors Services
The role of the individual Education Assessor is to assess applications for recognition by: • Reviewing the applicant’s qualifications (including post qualification experience) including o Irish Qualifications via non-standard pathways; o Those obtained outside the State; and • determine if they meet the NMBI Standards and Requirements (and relevant sections of the Professional Qualifications Directive) for the relevant profession; • make a recommendation as to whether the applicant’s qualification meets the NMBI standards and requirements for qualification recognition; • where necessary, make a recommendation regarding if a compensation measures for the applicant is appropriate We are seeking individuals registered with NMBI, and: • a minimum of three years relevant experience in nursing/midwifery; • a minimum of three years professional experience in the delivery and evaluation of nursing/midwifery education programmes. • An appropriate third level educational qualification The role also involves assessing appeal files (recognition and registration applications) and making informed recommendations to the Registration Committee.
