United Kingdom-Bristol: Hospital meals
University Hospital Bristol NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a provider to provide a high quality meals / menu which provides a range of appetising and nutritious food to enable all patients to have a choice which reflects their dietary needs (medical, cultural & social preferences) The Menu will be flexible and provide for changing patient needs/profiles and adapt to the nature of the clinical service provided by the Trust within a finite financial resource.
The Trust requires a selection of meals (bulk, single portion and/or plated) meals that are delivered frozen, and can be regenerated using a regeneration oven. A number of wards currently offer plated with an option to extend this to more wards. The contractor will be expected to provide suitable regeneration equipment for plated meals.
A five-year fixed term contract will be awarded to the successful contractor. The contract may be extended by a further two years at the agreement of both parties and following regular performance review and achievement of key performance indicators. The contract is anticipated to commence in September 2016 following the successful conclusion of this procurement process.
