Leibniz School Leipzig (lot 3)
The Office for Schools of the City of Leipzig is planning the complex modernisation of the two listed old buildings at the above-mentioned school location (see Annex, excerpt from the city map). The building Eutritzscher Straße 17 (former main customs office, built in 1904) has been used so far by the social welfare office and will become part of the school location in the future. As a result, the area deficits of the previous school building Nordplatz 13 (built in 1914) are compensated. Between Stadtbad and Eutritzscher Straße there is a listed former administration building (built in 1960) with current and long-term planned use by the social welfare office, which has common structural connections in the building transition to the old building. The necessary conditions must be created for long-term self-sufficient use as accommodation for asylum seekers. The open-air facilities are to be interconnected and modernised (with the exception of a modernised ball field in 2020). Both buildings are to be outsourced during construction (interim building not included).
