Description

Stadtwerke Achim AG is planning a single-storey new building as an extension for the warehouse and workshop building at Gaswerkstraße 7 in 28832 Achim. The new building (construction section 2) is in north/south orientation about 55,60m long with a width of about 12,00m. The storage area is divided into high- and heavy-duty rack warehouses as well as a small part warehouse with one level. In the southern part of the building there is a technical and training room and a training workshop. Design and construction The roof is inclined on two sides and designed in two heights to generate the necessary room height for the stored goods. The roof shape is built using steel supports and beams. The roof skin consists of a sandwich panel, partly with photovoltaic system. Wall panels are used as the outer wall, which are placed on a tr-base. The pedestal runs north up stairs to follow the ascending terrain. All interior rooms are massively separated with sand-limestone walls. Strip foundations with a WU sole are provided as foundations.
