Description

The objective of this consultation is to study and monitor the completion of a new soft mobility crossing of the East Ring Road south of Interchange No. 6 by an overpass. Indeed, pedestrian traffic on match days interferes with car traffic on the interchange. In addition, the interchange is only poorly adapted to pedestrian traffic (service sidewalks, insecure pedestrian crossings). In order to secure the crossing and improve the smooth links between Meyzieu and Décines-Charpieu, it is envisaged to create a mixed footbridge (pedestrian, cycle). The connection to the bus stop "Decines OL valley" on Avenue Simone Veil side Décines-Charpieu jet at the crossroads between Rue Paul Cézanne and Boulevard Pierre Mendes France side Meyzieu is planned in the program (including the development of the esplanade along Avenue Simone Veil to accommodate the new traffic brought by the footbridge). Following preliminary studies, the overhead bridge by an unsupported TPC route of the Rocade was retained. The project management team will therefore have to develop solutions in this direction. The operation is described in more detail in the programme attached to the consultation file. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
