COMPASSO Star Sensor
As part of DLR’s COMPASSO payload a compact star sensor is required. This star sensor shall be of type autonomous star tracker as defined in ECSS-E-ST-60-20 including baffles, and shall provide as primary data output the celestial fixed attitude in quaternion format via an RS422 interface. The overall COMPASSO payload will be mounted on the Bartolomeo platform attached to the Columbus module of the International Space Station (ISS). Scope of the supply are off-the-shelf equipment fulfilling all applicable functional, interface, and product assurance requirements including safety with minimal adaptations (if any).
