Germany-Magdeburg: Architectural, engineering and planning services
The campus of Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg will rehabilitate buildings of the Institute of Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering to meet today’s requirements for modern teaching and research facilities that meet university requirements. The subject of the invitation to tender is the building design § 34 HOAI and the structural design § 51 HOAI for the comprehensive renovation of buildings 12 and 12.1. The buildings built between 1955 and 1 958 are located in the western part of the University Campus. The building ensemble is not subject to any desk-care requirements. However, preserving the character of the buildings as much as possible constitutes an express desire for users. There is an overall preliminary planning for the buildings from 2013, including an energy-saving concept. On the basis of this preliminary planning, a 1. BA 2014/15 was partially rehabilitated. Content of the 1st BA was the rehabilitation of the West. Building wings and stairwells, as well as the construction of a technical centre above the second Og in this edited area (top-up). Building 12 is a three-storey U-shaped masonry construction with a hole façade and a bitumendach inclined towards the inside with a pre-hanged drainage channel. The construction is simply subclad and has two stairwells in the two building corners. As a spacer, a corridor, which is also u-shaped, a corridor accompanies the space chia on the inside and provides an insight into the experimentation field of the upstream machine hall (Building 12.1) via a high floor glazing from each level. Building 12.1 is a non-closed building with a steel frame and north-facing, hallenhoher glass façade. Integrated into the framework, a craneway of a more recent type is running through which changes can be made to the test field. Both buildings drain their entire roof area into the joint of the building. Buildings 12 and born 12.1. The water is discharged via the hall into the base line under the base duct. Content of the reorganisation measure in the second BA are: — Fire protection regulation between building parts – Regulation of escape routes and installation of secured escape stairwells – Physical upgrading of windows, façades and roof surfaces – Modification of space cuts according to the layout plan in the area of interior walls and floors – Remediation of the interior walls of cellar walls (including non-accessible areas for experimental halls or in the case of upstream cellar shafts) – Construction of a support system (floor, wall, roof) for housing a built-in technical roof centre – Modification of roofing for drainage of building 12. For the 2nd The planning mandate was issued to BA in October 2015. According to the planning contract, a BGF of ~ 3 230 m² and a cost limit of EUR ~ 6170000 (KG 200 – 600) was assumed. In the planning services, it should be borne in mind that not only the construction costs but the total costs of construction, maintenance and operation of the building are minimised. The principle of inclusion/accessibility must be respected. The conversion is carried out under the conditions of current operation. An energy-saving concept is to be implemented and the building energy passport must be provided. The planning task and the scope of the planning may be modified by the contracting authority at any time in terms of space, structure and time. The project is to be implemented with the help of funding from the ERDF programme (expected V). The Contracting Authority/Contracting Authority expects the proposed project team to be immediately and fully available in case of assignment to ensure scheduling. If necessary, an increase in team size must be secured/enabled to ensure that deadlines are met.
