Architectural and engineering services for the following measure: Voluntary fire brigade Extinguishing unit 2 (Lot 1) ⁇ Rescue station South (Lot 2) [Solingen]
The City of Solingen intends to award architectural and engineering services for the following measures: - Lot 1: New construction Voluntary fire brigade - Extinguishing unit 2 [Voluntary fire brigade Rupelrath, Löhdorfer Straße], - Lot 2: Accommodation Rescue Station South in existing buildings [Bismarckstraße 99]. Feasibility studies were prepared for both projects, which reflect the scope of the measures taking into account the building law concerns. The feasibility studies show solution options whose architectural design is not set. The reason for the construction of the building for the voluntary fire brigade is the additional need for space, in particular for the accommodation of emergency vehicles. The current vehicle hall on Wipperauer Straße offers only two partially suitable parking spaces. In addition, the location is somewhat remote, which negatively affects the duration until the move out. The new building for the firefighting unit 2 of the voluntary fire brigade Rupelrath in Solingen is to map 3 vehicle parking spaces including adjoining areas. The new building is planned as a 2-storey building on Löhdorfer Straße. Completion is scheduled for Q3 2029. Based on the feasibility study carried out, the total costs (KG 200 - 600) are estimated at around EUR 3.6 million / gross. The aim of this project is the construction of a new rescue station at Bismarckstraße 99 in Solingen. For this purpose, an existing building on the property is to be comprehensively renovated. Another building will be partially renovated and converted for use by the volunteer fire brigade and the rescue station. In addition, both buildings are planned to be connected by a bridge. The ensemble consists of a former manor house, which has been used by the Böckerhof volunteer fire brigade for several years. The ensemble is not listed. A central goal of the project is to preserve the external appearance of the ensemble while at the same time renovating and repurposing it. Building in the existing building is in the foreground. The buildings are to be sustainably renovated, whereby the historic character of the old courtyard is to be preserved. In total, a gross floor area of about 360 sqm in building 01 and about 400 sqm in building 02 is to be converted, through the bridge and the stairwell extension proposed in the feasibility study, about 100 sqm of new construction will be added. Completion is planned for the first quarter of 2030. Based on the feasibility study carried out, the total costs (KG 200 - 600) are estimated at around EUR 3.6 million / gross.
