L’appalto prevede la redazione della progettazione esecutiva e l’esecuzione dei lavori di implementazione sulla linea extraurbana a scartamento ridotto compresa tra la stazione di Catania Borgo e quella di Riposto di un sistema di controllo marcia treno ERTMS/ECTS di primo livello, di un sistema Apparato Centrale Computerizzato Multistazione (ACCM) integrato con un sistema di Blocco Conta-Assi (BCA), adeguamento di PLA alla norma UNI 11117 e realizzazione di nuovi PLA.
